My husband is a general contractor in Washington, DC. I can say unequivocally that we have never hired anyone of the caliber and professionalism of Tamas to work on our home. He converted a closet into a gleaming new bathroom: a project that required complicated plumbing and electrical, carpentry, tile, custom shower, cabinetry. My husband and I were so impressed by the professional estimate we were given, as well as regular updates on the work progress. Tamas is meticulous in the extreme, professional, courteous. I cannot emphasize enough how pleased we were. So much so, we plan to hire him to be the general contractor on a 1.2M barn we hope to build within the coming year. So, don't book him up too much, please.

The professional was always on time, he was clean and keept all of the work area clean as well. At the end of the day during the work, the professional took pride on what he did. The professional would rather do the work right, other than sloppy or wrong. The professional took extra time, so he wouldn't have a problem to return to. The professional doesn't rush through the project, like most contractors do these days.

Tamas did an exceptional job renovating my bath. This was in no way a simple project as my bath had to be renovated from 1941 to 2017. Bathrooms this old require a true professional and Tamas did an amazing job. From doing a complete demo down to the frame, busting up the entire mudbed floor to his exceptional work leveling the walls, floor, tiling and grouting. The work was flawless but so was his professionalism and work ethic. He took care to limit dust from covering my home by hanging barriers in and around the work place, very reliable and in constant contact with me so I knew each day what he would be working on. Always on time, with a strong work ethic, I would strongly recommend him for work in your home. A true professional, craftsman and trustworthy. I absolutely love my bath as it is the spa bath I have always wanted.

Tamas did a complete renovation of our bathroom. The original was thirty three years old so it was in bad shape. He found some problems that needed to be addressed and did the job right. No cutting corners, but doing the job right so we wouldn't have future issues. He came on time and cleaned up afterwards. He explained everything he did to make things right and what had been done wrong by the builder. The floor wasn't straight and didn't have the proper support in places. We are not finished yet, but I can't wait to see our new bathroom. He also replaced the flooring in our other bathroom, which looks beautiful. I would hire him again.

Tamas was very professional and takes great pride in his work. We wanted the marble in our fireplace removed and replaced with Hampton Carrera Marble Tiles. He was able to give us a great estimate, brought all his tools with him and kept us informed on all the steps he was doing. It took him 2.5 days to complete the job and it turned out FANTASTIC! We will be using him for future projects.

Needed a total renovation of a master bathroom.
This included demolition, moving water and waste lines under the subfloor and in the walls.Installing natural stone on the bathroom floor and in a large shower and installing a double vanity with top large mirror and a commode! Couldn’t be happier with the results. The work was fantastic with great attention to details. Every stage was done in a timely fashion. Each day it was great to come home and see the great progress being made. Most importantly no corners were cut: used cement board and Schluter ”kerdi” waterproofing all throughout so I know there will be no issues in the future. Plan to hire him again for a half bath project !

We had Tamas remodel our Master Bathroom. He was very meticulous and took the time to make sure everything was just right. The Tiling came out very well. During the job, Tamas was always working with us and making sure we were aware of any issues that surfaced. He recommended things we would NOT have thought of but, are glad he did to make sure the overall job and aesthetics of the project came out looking great. For example, he recommended that we increase the size of the shower niche and in hindsight if we had gone with our original decision, we would not have been happy with the way it looked. Thanks to Tamas, we are extremely happy with the end result. This is what we expect and hoped for from a experienced contractor to provide us with that guidance and insight. In addition, Tamas was very flexible and willing to work with us on design changes as the job progressed. He was willing to do the little things like move a mirror or help us install a new toilet without any additional charge, even though it wasn't in the original quote. Because he wanted to make sure we were happy but, also, to make sure the job came out looking professional. We had many questions and Tamas always took the time to patiently talk with us and provide the info we requested. It was a pleasure working with Tamas and we will definitely keep him in mind for our next renovation.
